When Mira fist joined X- Show, her knowledge of cradle and acrobatic technique was limited. However over the course of her time there, she has surpassed seasoned performers in her technical ability, and it has been wonderful to witness her technical growth.
Yet, what sets Mira apart goes beyond her acrobatic progress. Her personal growth has been equally, if not more impressive. She has evolved into a more confident and assertive individual, a transformation that can only happen through facing challenges head on and coming-out on top. It’s evident from her time here that she has been put through difficult situations and she has taken the opportunity to learn from every situation that came her way.
While I have contributed to Mira’s technical acrobatic growth, Mira has taught me invaluable lessons in teaching, learning, and most importantly friendship. Her time here has been a profound reminder that the circus is not only about acrobatics, it’s more importantly about the people you spend your time with, and spending time with Mira in Hangzhou has made my life significantly richer.
Being at X-Show and gaining a deeper understanding of Mira’s character, I have no doubt that she will be successful in whichever path she chooses to pursue. She’s demonstrated her exceptional ability to handle people and circumstances with patience and wisdom, qualities that will propel her far in whichever direction she chooses to go.
I am truly grateful to get to train and perform with Mira these past years, but more thankful for a lifelong friend.
